What is the universe trying to tell me?

Everything was going good with me and R finally..I turn the corner when I left work and run into him and some girl that was half naked..clearly on a date..he shaved, hair cut and put his head down when he saw me but like an ass I still said hi and walked away... Today I went to work and went out after , deleted it from my mind and wanted to have fun...walk into a random bar and who's sitting there....yup R WTF ugh I looked at my friend and said let's go now. WHY what is the universe doing this for

This actually happened to me before. I was dating a guy ..never exclusive... Anyhooo I was suppose to go to my friends house in another state but canceled and decided to stay at my other friends house in the city and I saw the him with a girl and he pretended like I didn't exist. We were walking on the same street and it was soooo empty. No one but me and my fiend and him and his girl. And this is New York City. Not to mention this guy lives in another borough. Sooo weird. I think the universe was trying to tell me he's not the one. Hope you get your answer Hun!
