hey ya'll I just got a court hearing where my x's girlfriend has taken out an order of protection against me.
the hearing is june 11th.
I am really scared.
I have not done anything to her, she has pretty much been the one to contact me first, and I have responded to her in a non-threatening way.
will it go well for me?
I have forwarded this to my lawyer but he probably won't see the email til Monday.
I am scared they will try to have me arrested or something.
I think my x's girlfriend did this for spite cause I would not sign the divorce papers my x served to me and I am fighting him in the divorce.now leave your question. IP: Logged |

I get there will be a lot of bickering, fighting and she said he said. I feel like when your lawyer sees this you will be told you should not have replied to her.
I do get trouble around this, unslept nights and a very big cloud over your head. But I dont feel arests on your or their side. I just feel more court time or time with both lawyers. I feel like it will be proven that she contacted but again I got that you will be warned you should not have talked to her.IP: Logged |

I see that there is money involved in this. Do you owe him or her money...for something? do you think your lawyers going to be there in court so he'll see it. no you're definitely not going to get arrested. I just see punitive damages so whatever is going on I see you have to pay out financially. my question is are they separated and how severe is it? what is causing their hardship? IP: Logged |

I had a friend who was a lawyer and had to deal with her husbands ex. They kept a journal of everything. Phone calls with date, times , things said. If you have this and she continues to call and Harras you when you refuse to respond you already have the journal. to prove the phone calls with dates and times. Then lawyer can get her to stop bothering you with a court order. IP: Logged |

thanks cheerful,I got page of swords for your first question, which to me signals trouble in paradise so I think it's possible that they are or soon will be separated. the world tells me she has some sort of anger problem that is creeping into the relationship, and could be linked to something that happened around a holiday.
