The Star as advice - plain and simple as a general life purpose reading. What does the Star as advice mean?

Also, what does Four of Swords as future mean? I have heard 'rest'

It means that in the past you may have had some hard times that made you reevaluate your life and start a new direction. You may have been forced to end something. Since its your life its saying this life is about healing from the pain of past lives and maybe your childhood in this life. It means that you had to go through lessons in order to learn what the star has in store for you because nobody can come into the light without first going through the darkness. So you have to know that you have learned a lot from pain and are now ready to be healed through learning about higher truth of yourself and humanity.

Four of swords means you have been hurt, again in previous times and you need some alone time to develop this higher hope and knowledge. You can only achieve it alone nobody but your higher self is going to help you in this.
