I'm sorry if this post doesn't belong here, but I noticed more than one thread in which people have given past-life readings so I thought I'd throw this out there and defer to their experience. I have a few questions about past lives that Google/books aren't really answering. I was wondering if anyone on here has experience and might be willing to answer them or can point me in the direction of someone else who can.

I'm not looking for a reading. I just have general questions about theories behind past lives/soul connections/etc...that I'd like to chat about with someone who has some experience (i.e. given readings for others/connecting with spirits/spirit guides/possibly has done a regression, etc..).

In my religion, we have contacts with spirits, and yes I do believe in past lives. For me, it was the only answer I got for all the suffering of this world. I mean, it is fair that one person is health and another one is not? A lot of factors made me believe in the past life subjects... I didn't have got many good readings for a past life, because I think that once you came again here, it's a lesson that you'll have to learn by yourself!!

I am the same SereneDaze - I had my first past life reading recently and honestly it has blown me away in terms of how much what I was told resonated with my life up until this point. It seems to connect so many pieces - everything from my interests as a child to how I approach problems as an adult. It's really fascinating to me, but some things I've been told are confusing.

My biggest question is essentially how often do we reincarnate with other souls? And are those reincarnations together always because we have karma or something to teach each other (and then once that lesson is learned, we move on)?

From my thoughts/understanding/perspective, generally we do have soul groups, but sometimes (in relatively rare situations) we DON'T reincarnate with them. Sometimes, we reincarnate with some of them, but not all of them. In other words, when groups incarnate together, sometimes there are a few that don't for various reasons. Sometimes, in fact, in somewhat rare situations the main reason someone incarnates is in order to incarnate with their group.. Whether to comfort them/help them/or to help them work out there Karma(such as if in a situation where a soul reaches a certain level of evolution).. Or of course, just for other karmic reasons.

Then there are other times when other souls in the soul group need to spend more time in spirit, or another realm of being (such as in another starsystem..) in order to learn things that cannot as easily be learned on earth.. In a way that what they are learning almost becomes more of an immediate importance than working out simple karmic debts

(Now.. The last thing I said.. That is actually a relatively complex thing that probably wouldn't be easy to explain, considering time is experienced much different within the spiritual realms and other dimensions..)

Interesting stuff! So, in theory, we are almost always around our soul group? I'm curious because I was told in one of my past life readings that I am on my 6th incarnation with another soul and that that is supposedly "rare" (according to this particular reader). If we usually reincarnate with our soul group, why would 6 incarnations with another soul be rare? I'd imagine we would be in hundreds or maybe even thousands of lives with the souls in our soul group. That bit of information confuses me.

Another realm of being? So reincarnation is not limited to just here on Earth, but possibly outside the galaxy? OR are you referring to different dimensions as in parallel universes?
