Topic: Is my mum seeing spirits?

She is old and unwell. In recent days she's been talking about seeing people in her room or in the next room. An old man lying on a sofa, for example. She is not afraid of them and simply mentions them in passing, such as "Isn't his neck going to hurt if he continues to lie in that position". It makes me wonder if people can sense things in both worlds when they come close to passing over. So, is this for real? Or is she hallucinating? Could someone read or sense which is it?

Well it entirely possible shes seeing spirits. When my aunt was dying from cancer my mom and her sister were careing for her and my aunt was lying on a bed and my mom said she got a far away look in her eyes and my aunt looked out the window my mom said do you see mom? (Their mom had passed from cancer too) my aunt just looked at my mom andmy mom told her it was ok for her to go and she took her last breath and was gone.
I also just want to point out that if she has bad eye sight she could just be seeing things. Especially if there are blind spots in her vision because the brain tries to piece together whats missing and the brain can be veeeery imaginative. IP: Logged |

Hi astro I'm still learning to connect to my guide but this is what I picked up. They are indeed spirits that she is seeing, some of them are her guides some of them are not. Her guides are there to "ease her transaction", did this mean anything to you? They want her to know that they are for her. IP: Logged |

Yes, the brain could certainly be playing tricks on her. But it is the consistency of the vision - she describes the old man in detail, his posture, his hair etc - which seems to indicate it may be something more. She has mentioned other people too - a scientist type performing a ritual. This guy was in her bathroom.IP: Logged |

Thank you, Serene. How very nice and reassuring. Did you mean to say 'ease her transition" ? That would make sense as I have been told that she is preparing to leave the world and her transition will be a peaceful one. Yes I meant transition! I don't know if she's passing or not but she is taken care of by her guides. I'm getting that you being there for her and showing your love means a lot to her. Another message I got is that you should tell her that you are so happy to have her as your mother, this would make her soul really happy.IP: Logged |
