Hello, my father and I have not had the best relationship. He was an alcoholic growing up, physically abusive to my mother, and emotionally abusive to us. I have tried for years to understand what happened in his life to make him that way. He does not act like a Pisces at all, as far as understanding and being sensitive. I see he has a lot of oppositions in his chart. I have tried to make amends and forgive because I do believe we pick our parents, I sometimes wonder though why was he like this? Why so abusive and nasty to us growing up. Anything in his chart explain why? Most Pisces men I have met are not like Pisces women. They are not kind, sensitive or understanding...at least ones I have met. Thank you so much for looking. Also I should add I do not know his birth time... so I am not sure if that would make a HUGE difference.

I am so sad to hear you had to deal with this ..

Just wanted to add I know a Pisces man like that too. He loves his kids, but can't get structure in his life. He drinks, does drugs, is physically abusive to his now ex wife and is not there for the kids when it really matters. No doubt he wants to, but I think his demons are pulling him harder.

I think alcoholism is a very piscean thing. but physical and emotional violence.. I don't know. We all are given tests and the person we are now determines whether we passed the test or not.

His moon opposition to his Sun/Jupiter tells me that his parents were like this too and he is taking example of his own father?

no expert btw, just my two cents.

Thank you both. yes his parents did drink and his father myGrandfather growing up was no very loving or affectionate with me or my brother. I don’t really know. His parents were well off, he was the baby of the family. But I totally agree with we are tested in life and the person we are now shows whether we passed or failed. I believe I am more compassionate and more patient because of how he was. His anger made me rise above all that and perhaps it is true that I am a better person because of it. Thank you both for your input.

the sun in pisces - tendency towards escapism - don't know his time of birth but i wouldn't be surprised if it's in the 12th house if the birth time is ever discovered - you can order his birth certificate to find out birth time

mars in leo - alpha male

moon in virgo - mother issues - expected perfection from women and children

all a dead give away to me
