Do you two have a legal bind or are going through something in court?

Whatever the situation is I think S sees you as someone who likes to argue and take charge. Maybe sometimes they think you are just doing it for the sake of arguing and a little self-righteous. I think S feels like they've done you a favour and they are paying for it or they didn't get it in return.

Five of Cups, Nine of Wands and Death

Ok I think he feels like he lost a little hope. Maybe he thinks he said something that put you off. I get that he's almost feeling a little defensive of on guard now. Death here could mean he will move on, even if not permanently but like he will revisit the idea of you two when things change. Like he wants a new chance, and for this to happen something has to change first.

I think you will find a nice place in Denver but the place or first preference is too much for you to maintain. You want a little too much for what you can afford maybe? Either ways I think the first place you live in won't be too permanent and you will make a quick move to what your second choice was but it will be more comfortable financially for you.

I got Page of Pentacles, The Tower, Ace of Swords and 10 of Pentacles

To me Page here means he's slow in his pursuit but he is fixed on something so I think the feelings are there but he's not sure what he is going to do about it. Soemthing will have to happen before he makes a move. He may see something about you that will make him take some sort of action. I think he could be the type to keep feelings locked away but he knows they are there.

If you're still offering the exchange could you ask if S is going to reach out again soon?

Well the man that I pulled out definitely represents him and I see that he feels really comfortable around you and gets warm feelings when being with you, sort of like he can rely on you. I sense that you guys have a deep connection with each other, maybe he's someone from your past or he may have a connection that sort of feels like a past-life connection with you? I'm getting that he feels like that about you, he has stable feelings for you.
