My dream started with me waking up on a mattress outside the garage, and I felt very comfortable and safe at this point.

I had dreamt something that I felt I needed to write down and was doing so on my laptop when I noticed a girl walking down the road, or maybe more like she noticed me. She was pale and had thick brown hair halfway to her shoulders, and she wore something red and marine blue (If you've seen the movie Amélie, think her but about 11-12 years old and blank).

She wanted to know what I was writing and then stood behind me and watched as I tried to write down my dream. I got uncomfortable and asked her to leave, but she didn't seem to understand me.

I got up and went into the old house/barn that stood by the garage, and she followed me and stood on the porch and watched as I tried to lock the door. But the look was broken and every time I tried to check if it had caught and pushed on the door, it would swing open and I'd see her standing there, watching.

Then she suddenly tried to force her way in (she had feathers when she did this, think Howl's Moving Castle), and I yelled to my friend, who owned this house/barn, to help me, and she did by locking the door with another lock by the hinges.

The girl stopped trying to get in and I saw her through the window, sitting in a corner with her knees pulled up to her chin and staring blankly at nothing, waiting.

I went deeper into the house/barn and tried to get back to sleep with my friends, but I noticed that the entire back of the building was gone, and that the rest was really dilapidated as if it had been abandoned for a very long time.

I felt really stressed at this cause it meant that the girl could get inside without a problem, should she just walk around instead of just sit in front and wait.

I believe I called the cops/army/someone for help at this point, to get someone to deal with her before it got bad, and then the dream changed back to a normal-ish one.

The reason why I noticed this girl is because she had a distinct look and feel compared to "normal" people in my dreams (who are more like fuzzy, grey mannequins that I just know are this specific person), and her presence made me very uneasy.

However, her energy/attention didn't really feel specifically focused on me. Kinda like when you walk past someone sitting on a park bench and they look up briefly as you walk past.
