Pallas is such an interesting asteroid as it goes beyond normal "mercury" mind matters. Mercury is all about organizing and communicating your conscious thoughts ... but Pallas is a particular specialization which takes intellect to a new level. As you mention, it recognizes patterns,and indicates an ability to take many variables and hold them steady in your mind in order to synthesize them into a cohesive whole. On a more spiritual level, it is also about pineal gland activation. i.e. Third eye awakening to the higher self, wisdom and truth.

If the pair of you are triggering this kind of activation in each other through your South Node and his venus/merc/DC, you might expect that when you are with each other you experience feelings of enhanced intuition, energetic attunement, vivid and/or lucid dreams, OBE's, supercharged creativity and imagination. You might also feel shaky and disorientated.

Seeing that Mr X is a man, he might “own” his Mars energy more physically than me. He may also have a temper that suddenly erupts without warning, when pushed too far. There is normally quiet before the storm, as anger may be suppressed before being expressed.

Do you often feel misunderstood as a Gemini Sun? … Hard question. Hmm. Let me think. Yes, No, Sometimes – LOL (Gem response!!!). Well I can say this…. My sun is inconjunct my moon (in Scorp) and Mr X’s sun is also inconjunct his moon (in Cap). Anyone with Sun inconjunct Moon is not exactly going to be satisfied with their ego/emotional balance and is going to have a complex relationship with themselves. Generally what happens with me is that I am either all airy and curious about something but wondering why I am not feeling any emotion; or I am being swept up in a tidal wave of irrational emotion which never reaches the surface and goes against my rational mind. I guess with him it must be similar – except the emotion will be more super-controlled (Capricorn) than super-intense (Scorp). Trying to balance the sun and moon can be a little tiring and stressful. I often need time out from people because of this. Yeah, I suppose I think that some people believe I am more serious than I really am and other people think I am more superficial than I really am. In truth I am both, and in rare moments I get in balance and it feels brilliant.
