I did a reading for you...

7 of cups, 10 of swords, 4 of swords

I feel with the 7 of cups you are trying to make a decision on how to rectify this situation. The 10 of swords is showing an ending so perhaps your prof has just put it aside and is not as overly concerned as you are. I don't feel there is any need for concern. The 4 of swords is showing rest, recovery after a period of struggle. The struggle is within yourself and you are making out to be worse than it really is. Hope this helps you.
