About 1 week after your reading I received a sweet message from a love interest that made me quite happy. The message alluded to some possible changes for us on the horizon and it indeed gave me hope Since then, nothing significant has happened.

As far as work goes, things have generally continued to be stagnant. A little over a week ago I was contacted by the director of an organization I currently volunteer for - she wanted to discuss the possibility of creating a full time job for me. Apparently this has been in the works for a while now, but there have been delays and the usual bureaucratic hoops to jump through.

I imagine that the movement forward you mentioned is related to this. The movement seems to be largely on her end as she has been working very hard these past few weeks to have the position updated and the salary revised - I on the other hand feel like I have been figuratively sitting around twiddling my thumbs, lol. We are to discuss the end result this week. We'll see what happens. There are other employment options open to me right now too - but again, they are all experiencing delays for one reason or another and I haven't heard anything

yes this does feel to me movement forward I saw.
I hoe your talk over this position makes you happy and that you do get what you wanted.
Go with what will make you happy, those job will never seem like jobs

Me too! (fingers crossed). We'll see. Honestly though, if any of the positions I'm currently involved with come through, I think I will be quite happy. They all in one way or another could potentially set off my career
