Topic: Of concern, any ideas? Astrology kite formation

Hi, Randall suggested I ask my question here. I have an upside down kite formation in my progressed chart. It showed up a few years back and looks to be staying for 30+ years. I'm self learning astrology and trying to understand what this means. It matters due to life circumstances - illness etc. From researching for the past year and buying lots of astrology books I can't find anything to speak to this in a progressed chart. Would like to kick this around a bit if anyone is able or willing? IP: Logged |

I suppose if the kite formation was from outer planets it could stay in place for 30+ years but ..... that would make it present in your natal as well so it couldn't 'show up a couple years ago'.A picture is worth a thousand words and I'd love to see the error of my thinking. Sorry, it goes to 2041 which is 26 yrs....haha Anyway...any ideas? I'm worried I think.2041 progressed chart below so you can compare to 2015 above

Its with different planets. The first chart its with the Sun and the second chart with Mercury/Venus. So its not the same configuration. IP: Logged |

Okay Bear9, I get it now.Everything to make your Kite is present in your natal chart with Pluto, Jupiter and Neptune lining up; everything except one corner of the Grand Trine. When planets transit the right part of Capricorn, your Kite becomes activated briefly. As progressed planets move into that area your Kite becomes activated for a longer period – like maybe a year instead of a week to 10 days. If I were you I would read it in the Natal Chart with the understanding it’s not permanent, like a transit. This probably makes what you’ve already picked up and read relevant. Grand Trines are awesome, free flowing energies but maybe too easy. The Kite adds just the right amount of tension to the aspects to keep you from getting lazy. There is nothing to worry about here. Think of it like a penny loafer, good luck but you still have to put in the work. edited to add: I'd caution you on the orb size in aspects as well. The latter chart's aspects between Pluto/Uranus and Mercury/Venus is roughly 12 degrees; the tightest aspect is 7 degrees, I think. My rule of thumb is no more than 6 degrees with luminaries and I keep it around 2 degrees with the rest. The tighter the aspect, the more it is felt. For this reason, I ignore the Kite present in my natal chart as one corner of the Grand Trine has a +8 degree orb.

I can look at the health situation for you. Right now I am seeing Mars/Uranus/Pluto in Virgo which rules health square other planets .I'll be back soon to add more.IP: Logged |

I see a health problem will be a big deal right now since you have progressed Mars in Virgo rx square Mercury and Mars. But 30 years from not that problem will be long gone because it not in aspect anymore. So just try to be healthy and take care of yourself and heal.IP: Logged |

Just clarifying for my own understanding as i'm trying to learn this - did you mean having mars in virgo square mercury and venus? The mars square mercury makes sense as mercury is in my 6th house with sun natally. I bought a medical astrology book at one point and it isn't very good. Looking for others. anyhow, thank you so much for this! Maybe i'll be dead by then and that's why it will be long gone...lol I'm old already now. IP: Logged |
