I've been talking to D for a while and things have been going pretty well between us romantically. However, all of a sudden he tells me that he is seriously committed. I couldn't tell if he was joking or serious...? esp if he were serious, why would he waste my time in my first place?

Is he joking?

This has been bothering me a lot ever since it happened and it really hurt me..

Sometimes some people are douches and try to rope you in without disclosing material facts. I'm afraid he did that because he wasn't ready not to talk to you.
