Don't get bogged down by the negatives, and be confident and courageous. Follow what you love to do and it will come to you. Losing your previous job was painful for you- was it not? Seems like you just need to build yourself up from that. I truly feel you will get a job which you want if you persevere with the hunt (there will be a couple of jobs which will be a complete waste.. so just gloss those offers/interviews over). Stay positive and it will happen.
Thank you Mincey! I haven't lost a job, currently working but my contract ends in end of Feb and I want to find something before that time.

Edit: reading it again, I understood the loss you were talking about. There was a job opportunity I thought was perfect for me, the interview was bad and since then I felt at a loss and yeah my after that I lost my confidence...
