I don't think you'll see him tonight. Although you might want to but there is some emotional baggage to get rid of first before you see him. This emotional baggage could either belong to you or him. It could also be possible is you are well enough acquainted, that this could be some issue between you too. Although it does seem this baggage belongs to him.

V seems like he or she had some disappointments from their past that still lingers, it seems that this person is fighting for a new beggining and happiness, they are strong and standing their ground, not wanting to let negativity deter them from the joy they are seeking. It seems that they want to settle down perhaps or build a solid foundation and they are really determined to do that

It doesn't seem as if you two will connect emotionally, I see some blockages in regards to that, he seems to be a man that is dealing with some issues, could be legal and codependency, also I get a vibe that he has recently been betrayed and left disappointed.
