posting a solicitation is when people have the direct links and sell their services. I don't see you closing any one of their threads or telling them not to do that anymore..... And there's a lot of them that do it.IP: Logged |

I think it's because they're professional readers who out of generosity come here and occasionally offer to do their services for free, so for that they are allowed to promote their services. The links are there for those who care to check them out and are interested in paying for further services, but the reader isn't allowed to make posts to promote these services and are discouraged from discussing details of their services and such. I think I read that a few weeks ago in the rules. Also, the services they as professional readers are selling are relevant to the forum. I believe the problem with your post was that it was not only unrelated (not sure, I'm not familiar with that website) and your post was dedicated to promoting the sale of a good. Not 100% sure I'm right, but I think that's the issue.IP: Logged |

When people give greatly of their time providing quality readings, I allow them to insert a link in their Signature, but not a direct solicitation. What you posted was not remotely related to the content of the Forum, and that is exactly what the rules you agreed to when you signed up is intended to prevent.IP: Logged |

Thats cool, my post wasn't psychic related. solicitating one's own "services"/business/chance to make money for themselves, is allowed. Posting a coupon code for something not psychic related, not allowed. Okay got it.IP: Logged |
