I bought a Crystal Wisdom deck last year and have recently felt called to work with it. These are practice readings so your feedback is appreciated.

I'm taking 5 sitters for insightful readings. This isn't for predictive readings, but more about gaining insight into yourself. It can pertain to a specific area, but please word your question in such a way that it calls for insight. For example "What do I need to know to draw deeper love into my life?"

If you don't have a specific area, then it'll just be a general draw.

For you, I drew Shiva Lingham. It represents the base, sacral and highest crown chakras.

"Honor your libido and creative fire. Create balance throughout your life. Expect a new relationship or revitalize an old one. Practice sexual magic. Cut ties where appropriate. Pay attention to what you create through the power of your thoughts. Remember everything passes. In a turbulent time unexpected benefits emerge. The book goes on to talk about having both feminine and masculine qualities and how we have to integrate both for balance and creative power. The events in our lives shape us. Like the Shiva Lingham is produced by the waters in a flowing river, we too become products of our environment, shaped by the events in our lives. You have to know how to rid yourself of the residual energy and effects of things that have happened in your life that are having a negative impact on your development. You have to be compassionate with yourself in order to heal.

If we were having a private reading, I'd approach this a bit differently, but since it's on an open forum, I'm going to stick with these messages and trust that it will resonate on the level it needs to.

So I think there's a message here to have balance. There's also a message here to be true to yourself. Are you suppressing any part of yourself? Do you do or say things because you think they're the "right" thing even if it's not how you feel or what you want inside? Do you hide truths about yourself because you're afraid of being judged? Have you thought that maybe it is you who is judging yourself the hardest? The message about being compassionate with yourself stood out to me.

To gain a deeper connection with M, you have to fully open yourself up. There are things from your past, whether these are unpleasant or traumatic events, or possibly the beliefs you were taught growing up, that keep you from honoring ALL of you. You portray only a part of you, but there's more to you that makes you shine even brighter.

I have two cards for you. The first is Menalite. It fell from the deck as I was shuffling. It represents the earth star, base and sacral chakra. The soul path is "expressing the divine feminine".

Listen to your inner guidance, but be objective. Accept what's on offer. Watch out for idle gossip. Tie up loose ends before moving on. Remain emotionally detached. Release self-defeating programs. Both cards speak to you not being ready to "move on". Is there something in your life that you're wanting to put behind you, but maybe you haven't fully processed all that surrounds it yet? You may think you're ready for something that you're not quite ready for yet. The focus in your life right now should be on your spiritual growth, coming into your own, learning to discern the truth from wishful thinking or illusion.

I drew the Soulmate card for you which I thought was pretty neat Its chakra areas are earth star, heart, and higher crown. The soul path is "unconditional, mutually supportive union".

You didn't really ask a specific question so I asked the cards to show me your love life. I drew Peridot for you. Peridot covers the heart and solar plexus chakras. The soul path is "emotional purification".

Tiger's Eye reaffirms a lot of what the Peridot card brings to the reading. It talks about flaws and your ability to use your courage and personal power to make whatever changes you want to see in your life.

Before I go on with the reading, I'd never heard of this stone before. It's actually quite beautiful. It's made up of five crystals that, according to the book, "have amazing healing power and a dramatic effect on physical vitality".

"You are an extremely complex person who is seeking wholeness within yourself. Examine all facets of your personality, especially those you hide from yourself or others. You can continue to try to move forward and push what you want. There is something to be admired about tenacity and determination. However, it will ultimately delay that which you really want. Being in sync spiritually is a prerequisite to having the life you see yourself having. Everything that comes before that can be chalked up to an opportunity to learn a lesson, but you already have the tools you need to get into alignment and to free yourself up to gain your ultimate wish.

I think the card speaks for itself and needs no further clarification or insight from me. I do feel though that you might benefit from picking up one of these stones. They're not the cheapest, but if you're interested in crystals at all, this one should be in your collection. If you're not into collecting stones and crystals (at least not for spiritual purposes) and you decide to get one, learn a bit about cleansing them and caring for them in order for them to continue to give you the pure vibrational energies they're intended to.

Everything we touch leaves our imprint on it. Imagine a clear bowl of water. You put your hand in it and maybe dirt or oils from your skin are shed in the water. You can't even see it, but it changes the water nonetheless. Each time it is touched, it is changed. Eventually the water is muddied. Or when you touch a piece of glass, it leaves a print...same concept.

Now imagine transferring not just physical properties, but energy as well. Your stone is carrying a lot of different energies within it and can't release its natural vibrations and energy in a pure form anymore...muddied waters.
