I've been away for a second - apologies! I've been applying for new jobs etc. and the application processes are taking my energy

Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone would be willing to pull some cards on the following question:

'Will I get any of the jobs that I have applied for?' If yes, 'which industry is it likely to be in?'

I've applied for two jobs that I have a good feeling about so far and I am contemplating applying for a third one. However, it would be good to see if anyone can pick up on the industries that I have applied/will apply to shortly

I'll provide you with feedback on the job application process, as and when I receive it. The closing date for the roles are towards the end of the month.

I will be conducting research in the summer for my course, but I don't yet know precisely where or on what. It will be related to food security for rural communities. It would help me to know which country or part of the World I should focus on. So, the question is: which country should I be looking to do research in this summer?

A positive change is coming in your work life. It is important for you to be independent and think for yourself. 8 of wands says this is a golden opportunity of a time for you. Things are going your way. You may need to be patient, but the outcomes will be positive. 3 of Cups is also a good omen with regard to work. So, the answer seems to be yes, you will find work soon.

I really appreciate it! I understand what you're saying, I think because they take so much of my energy, I try to only do the ones that I know I can give 9/10. Like, at present, I'm happy with the quality of the applications that I've submitted and I think I'm fearful that if I just apply to so many, the quality will dip and my output would be like 5/10 - mediocre! But I'll definitely take what you said into account.

I am currently working full-time at the moment, from 10am-6pm; so I hardly get time to really sit down and get into things during the week. I have to wait until weekends.

Your question is difficult for me to answer because it's extremely broad. For me, it's like pulling cards trying to find a needle in a hay stack i.e. Pulling a card and trying to decipher out of the X amount of countries in the world, which one you should go for. It's too much scope for me lol. Do you have countries in mind?

This card suggests to me that No, and that nothing will come of your submission. I get the feeling that from this card, perhaps you acted quickly to make a submission because something was brought to your attention; but you did so without really thinking about the repercussions of your actions. Something tells me that your resume and transcript may show that you're not right for the role/company or your lacking experience. Is law really what you want to do? Or was it something that just sounded good at the time? I get the impression that it was a hasty move (but I could be wrong).

When I asked why nothing would come from the submission.... I pulled: Key + Stars + Moon.

Although these cards are all positive, I think they are saying that it's because you're yet to discover your dream/true calling. A positive outcome is guaranteed to you, but you need to follow your dreams. See what you really want and then go for it. Stay true to yourself and listen to your intuition.

Just to clarify, when I said the submission was 'hasty' - I meant on your part. Not on the part person who asked you to submit. As you've said (and I don't dispute), the lady asked you to submit your resume... So you must have made an impression on her; but on your side I got the feeling you submitted without really considering the bigger picture or taking into account the potential role. As a result, I think things are going to play out in a way that means nothing is going to come of it.

Should AK conduct her research in Europe? Card pulled: CROSS. I get the impression that your involvement with Europe has come to a natural end for some reason and therefore, whatever link you think you have there is non existent or weak and you may not get the best results if you do research there.

Shoul AK conduct her research in Asia? Card pulled: FISH. I get the impression that this is a good choice, because you are currently invested in this continent some how? It could be financial or emotional, but these links stand to provide you with the best results or setting for your research.
