Don't worry. I go nuts sometimes with the meanings, but a quick Google usually gives me alternate explanations. I must say I was stumped, too, with the tower and advice!

So since I didnt know his name, I just tried anyway. If this doesn't make sense, tell and give me his initials please.

Past: It shows here that someone either moved very quickly or just there was just swiftness in the situation.. Didnt really last long to begin with. This card can also mean (traveling somewhere) which I had already said in the beginning.
8 of wands

Present: Usually I don't interpret this card as trouble, but it looks like there is some problems because of something.. Like there is an obstacle in the way between you and this person..things are not going the way that you want.
7 of swords

What is hidden: Someone feels empty and lonely. They don't feel too happy in this situation.
8 of cups

Obstacle/challenges: Hmm I want to say that this is maybe about you two communication? Does the communication changes sometimes or most of the time like the direction of it? Not sure what this card is saying..
Knight of swords

Surroundings: This card deals with family.. Maybe someone is around their family that makes them feel safe and feel like they need a shoulder to cry on. Just someone being there for this person.
10 of pentacles

Advice: I think this card is saying that someone needs to be patient and try not to worry too much. There is a need for balance and harmony in this relationship.
