Not really, cards don't tell anything about that... just the outcome = confusion and not knowing what to do next.

hey ok so here is what I am seeing as far as AR;

he seems to be someone who is currently putting most of his focus on material consciousness. He sort of has a false sense of ego about himself where he feels like very high and mighty and feels that he deserves only the best and there is almost an entitled energy to making this happen. He views you in a really positive light, to him your are lively, attractive, and interesting... If you are considering a relationship, it does seem that his ego may get in the way, he's got interesting energies.. It's a somewhat false/ egoey pride.. of course paired with the side that is very insecure and doubting and untrusting. It does feel like you guys may be good friends, and have good conversation. It's not that there is NO potential for more, I just think that you would not be so interested should you get more involved with him. Like, he seems more attractive than he really is, he's got quite a bit of insecurities. And when I say his ego would get in the way, I mean really his insecurities. It seems that behind his confident exterior, he actually really questions his worth and it can be so hard to be with someone who hasn't yet developed this "sense of self".

We had a fight a fair number of years ago and didn't talk since. Then he added me on FB.. No communication whatsoever since the add.

I find it so weird, tbh. And yes, he has a conflated ego- but doesn't everyone at some point in their lives?

haha, yeah there it is! his ego getting in the way! he added you but is trying to seem like "mister boss ass mofo" and doesn't want to make the first move. Yes, I think we definitely all do. I'm sure that once he finds a true sense of self/ purpose that the need for the false ego will die down. I think it's probably really common among this age group too, for people still trying to find themselves and not really knowing where to fit in or where to get their worth from. But yeah, he added you because he's kinda idolizing you from afar, but still not willing to put his ego aside to make contact, at least for the time being.

Heart - Child - Rider - Ring ( Birds) - Mountain - Ship

He was very very fond of you once upon a time ( Heart + Child(past)).
He now has come back ( Rider) because he is missing the connection that you had and he wants to bring the thing back ( Ring). He is curious to see if that's possible and is observing to see if you have someone around you. However there is a lot of water under the bridge so things cannot be the same, along with a few obstacles and the time that has passed (Mountain).
Ship immediately after the Mountain means that things may possibly start moving up between you two after that period of stagnation ( Mountain+ Ship). There is a chance you could restart the connection.
Birds was the clarifier for the Ring ( attempt at repeating the contacts) and it means that you had a good mental connection back when you were hanging out together and you liked to talk and discuss a lot. He misses that. Ring (repeat) + Birds(talking, discussing)
