So, looking at past/present/future to have a better understanding: There was some conversation that proved promising, made it seem like things were progressing well and proper, but now the Clouds have taken over and there's some confusion in the air. However, the Clouds on my Piatnik deck turn white to indicate the future, and with that the Rider and Cross are coming. IO is important in your life, and you will grow from them (Cross can be karma), but right now the only person who knows how they feel is them, as crap as that is, and they still haven't fully worked it out. After you meet up again, things will be clearer.

Hope that makes sense at all. Sorry I couldn't be more clear. I do have a question though, now that I've thought about it:

Well BtL, got back from the "date" a few hours ago and I must say... I can feel the cross energy more than it was vocalised. A few things he said made me feel like he wasn't ready to settle down and to an extent, this has shocked me abit. He has admitted dating other girls, but says that they haven't been right for him. We spoke about us a little bit and a part of me thinks that he is somewhat happier dating other people. Not because he has feelings for them, per se... But because he admits that he can't commit right now. Don't get me wrong, he said some other stuff and implied that we would see eachother again, but for the moment... I think the relationship has run its course. Hence the cross and maybe the idea that I didn't get the overall message that I wanted.

It seems to me that to date, you have been on a spiritual and/or emotional journey with M. One that has involved the investment of feelings and the exploration of feelings which lie beneath your surface or even his surface. I'm back with an update. Sorry for the delay! Ok so your reading was spot on. I already mentioned that it initially spoke to how I was feeling about career, and that still stands. The "things not readily seen / out of my control" definitely speaks to the recurring health issues that I've been dealing with. Alongside physically being ill, there was the emotional toll and stress of being unable to accomplish everything that I wanted to within this new position. I have specialist appointments / tests scheduled to figure out what's going on and am currently feeling ok. I was offered an additional role (with more pay) at the beginning of May - so I am definitely feeling as though I am in the "gains" portion of your reading and am feeling more optimistic about getting things resolved health-wise and moving forward. Thank you again so much for your reading. The encouragement definitely helped me stay on track. Sending lots of positive wishes your way!

The way I read is that the center card is the "core" of the issue. There's benefits coming your way either financial or potentially spiritual or physically. The fish for me always just says lucrative "gains" across a wide field. The two inner cards (Child + Mountain) represent things not readily seen, emotions at play, or factors out of our control. You might be trying to start something new but feeling a little blocked or daunted. The Mountain is formidable card, but it isn't impossible to traverse (let alone with the energy and metabolism of a small child!) The outer two cards are what's occurring in the physical realm, what we can see, interact with and control. The Sun and Ship tell me that good and happy times are coming, but with the Clouds as the clarifier card... the details haven't actually been decided yet. There are still some hurdles and choices coming to you that will dictate small shifts in the outcome... but overall it'll be pleasant.

If we look at this as Past/present/future for extra info: in the past, you were feeling incredibly excited and zesty about a new start, and in the present, you are starting to realize it could be more lucrative than you can imagine. However, there are some difficulties that will have to be sorted (Mountain), perhaps with travel or at least communication over a longer range. Not quite sure what yet, but as long as you keep that core belief that it'll work out for you in the long run and that you can climb ANY mountain, you'll be fine.
