I think what he had told you took a lot out of him to tell you, it almost started becoming a burden for him so I think he was being honest, although it was tough he's trying to make better of the situation but he's also being defensive? i think it made you emotional whatever he had to say but overall I'm getting it was honest. please tell me if it resonates.

Okay for the focus card it points to having secrets or keeping something from someone. I dont know if it involves feelings, but may be someone is closed off? The next card I got talks about either feeling passionate towards the other person or that may be someone feels conflicted about something.. They may be struggling.. (book + whip)

With these two cards together it tells me that someone is unclear with whats going on with the relationship. They feel like they need to be told something regarding the situation between you two or that someone is confused. May be they are not sure on if there will be a relationship or not. (ring + clouds)

I'm think with the last few cards it points to that someone feels a bit lonely or feels alone.. I dont know if you two were ever separated but if not that then someone feels alone and that someone came into their life and it made them happy or at least put a smile on their face.. (tower + rider + bouquet)
