Anyone else here located on the "ring of fire" i.e., the geographical zone where earthquakes are prone? I am sure you all may know, but there have been 5 major earthquakes this week alone (BIG earthquakes). It is an interesting time that this is happening, the earth must be releasing a lot of internal pressure. You think it is related to the mars/pluto retrograde? Would love to have some of us do some readings on the topic to see what the energetic workings of this is.... or just anything you pick up/ are willing to share. Luckily, in the US, most of our buildings are now, at least mostly "earthquake safe" and built with the intention that it be able to withstand a huge quake. A few years ago, I was in a quake that had the ground rippling beneath my feet (getting chills as I write this for some reason), but there was little damage.. But seeing the earth move like that, you wonder if a big sink hole is going to open up in front of you! IP: Logged |

Home is in the ring of fire.. I'm currently in the US, though. Japan isn't having it easy, though. Frequent earthquakes are the norm, and we had at least 5-6 last year alone. Not everything makes the news in the Western media though. I'm not sure what you're asking about, though... IP: Logged |

Just anyone's perspective on what is triggering it; astrologically, energetically. Any hypotheses, theories... anything of the sort. Also looking for those located in the area to check in to make sure we are all alright IP: Logged |

I am reading about a small study someone did on the greatest recorded earthquakes. So far it seems the greatest factor that was singled out in many of the major earthquakes was the moon being in the furthest position from the earth. This is quite interesting, to me, because we all know how the moon affects our emotions, and I am sure many of us have felt the effects of the moon being close... Moon was near its Apogee (furthest away from Earth) in (Syria 1157, Sicily 1693, Iran 1780, Bogota 1785, Japan 1891, Kanto 1923, Japan 1948, Guetemala 1976, India/Pakistan Border 2001, Turkey 2003, Indonesia 2004 and Haiti 2010 - in all 12 cases). here is a quote by Yogananda "The sudden cataclysms that occur in nature, creating havoc and mass injury, are not “acts of God.” Such disasters result from the thoughts and actions of man. Whenever the world’s vibratory balance of good and evil is disturbed by an accumulation of harmful vibrations, the result of man’s wrong thinking and wrong doing, you will see devastation...."IP: Logged | |
