it seems like it was just a sort of confiding, i think maybe to get another woman's perspective or maybe just to get it off his chest.. i don't think he was talking badly about you, but like just saying how things had kind of gotten difficult. it actually feels he was sad and also disappointed and wanting to talk about it

Okay I think there will be some blocks with getting a schedule down pat or time coordinated to go visit. There could be some problems possibly with your work schedule that might make it kind of difficult to meet up. I think that you will actually end up running late for the visit that will cause a bit of drama from whoever your visiting. So, I'd make sure to make plans in advance be on time
