There are 2 questions, so I used Lenormand if that's alright?

He thought it was coming from a person who is currently in a good place, he found the contents interesting and reassuring. He might have got a vibe of joy/contentment

Why he's not replying

moon + clouds + letter

he's depressed or sad or something, his current mood is killing any desire to communicate, just the though of siting down and typing it seems weird and from a parallel universe. Presumably this state is temporary
