I would say he saw it today. 6 of wands for today as opposed to 6 of swords for before. I think that before u adding him, he passed that picture u talking bout without seeing it, as in it didn't catch his eye, no reason behind that, just didn't.

I think he was basically happy for you adding him. On top of that, he feels that you adding him is a good sign for him as in "there is still material here to work with", as in there's still smthing to fight for in regards to you. He sees that you are now more open towards him and he can build on that.
