Well it certainly seems a soul-mate connection. Whether or not platonic, can be seen by the Lovers card in between. It seems both of you are mutually attracted to each other. We were really in love around 5 years ago, there used to be a lot if resentment on my part and perhaps a lot of guilt on his, now he's suddenly turned up in my life and I have no clue why. We had an incredible connection, perhaps one of those after which people never stop loving each other despite who they are with

The Hermit could describe either of us I suppose.

I have a strange feeling about it all. Like maybe we could still make each other happy one way or another, but I don't think he's my final stop or the love of my life. People who are familiar with the situation say I am his though, so I don't know. I feel like I need to search a bit more for someone up my avenue to commit and settle down. Being friends would be nice. Or being there for each other or something.

But I can see why you pulled 2 cups and lovers

My situation is certainly not good, I mean it's quite unpredictable at the moment and everything that is happening come off as a surprise to me. I just hope that when this year passes by I have something convenient and calm to ponder about.

Honestly, there is a lot I have on my plate this year, it's a life changing one, given I have huge partnerships happening this year.

So I feel, your reading makes quite a lot of sense here.

Of course you should keep your options open because as far I have seen soul-mates are barely life partners. They come to fall in love and teach each other a lesson and go.
