Yes he thinks about you more like fantasizes about you. It seems he feels he is at some sort of loss though, like he feels he cant connect to you or you gave him a hint that he is not that good enough for you. He is going through some major transformation in his life and wont like any sort of painful experience right now. But it is certain that he thinks about you a lot. In coming months or weeks he will be back to his normal and then things may get better between you two.
