He found you so attractive and wanted to show you but decided on not doing so and blocking any other feelings. Not clear why but like at the time he felt it was best to do so that way.

i have no idea why. I declare nice like: "hi, how are you? hope you are well. i miss you. etc. etc." but the knight of swords is like "hi, i am fine. okay. i am busy and bye". the knight rushes into things and the swords is not the nicest element. if i didn't know it better, the knight of swords is also an indicator for someone being angry but A has no reason to be angry
