I've been a mess, I have so much guilt and regret over the fact that I was too busy or too exhausted at times to even hang out with him because of work.. I didn't realize how little time I had left to see him... If only I knew... I would have spent so much more time with him... I wish i would have gave him more happiness before he passed...I just really want to know if he's at peace now and happy... Please if someone could just let me know.. I just want him to know I love him so much and miss him and that I'm so sorry that I couldnt have been a better daughter and talk/see him more often..I just hope he can find peace and be happy... His passing was sudden and quick.. my mom had to break the news to me.. I had no time to say goodbye...IP: Logged |

Dear, my condolences…  It will probably sound so cliché, but it is true - your dad knew that you love him and that you have him in mind; however he also knew that you have a lot to do, that you are busy, but there is not a single sign in cards that he would see you as ‘not good enough’ daughter to him!  Don’t be sorry for not being a better daughter to him, because he didn’t see you that way. I don’t know if this will make any sense to you, but in the reading regarding you and your father’s relationship I got COFFIN – BOUQUET – BIRDS, which to me suggest clearly a funeral, and a place where a conversation is made. Perhaps it suggests that take yourself time and talk to your dad, when you will be at his funeral (or before when he will lay in a coffin). I send you much love and peace.

Thank you all for your kind words and advice! It will help me and my family come at peace easier about his passing... From the bottom of my heart I'm very grateful to read all of this... At times like this you look for anything to help break the silence that's filled with messy thoughts.. it's a vicious cycle that leaves you feeling lost...Astro.. Sorry about your mom For anyone who reads this: The time you have left with your loved ones is precious.. you just don't know when that time will be up at times... cherish every moment you have to talk to them or spend time with them and tell them you love them because you never know if that will be your last... regret is a horrible feeling IP: Logged |
