I think M definitely loses sleep at night or has done in the past. He thought about you a lot. I also think that he somehow feels he has already done everything he can when it comes to you. It's like he thinks I did what I could but now what. The two of you feel a sense of loss and in a way there is but the door just needs to be opened again if you know what I mean? Just because it feels final doesn't mean it is. Maybe both you are a little hopeless or even stubborn about this situation?
