is this relationship worth it? What are his true feelings about me?

So is the relationship worth it? I literally cannot tell you how to feel about this person, but I do see where you had your concerns, especially in the past. Seems like before you were absolutely ready to move beyond him into another relationship, or you were seeking something better, less toxic? More stable? but maybe somebody(a mutual friend, or relative)brought you back to this point now. Tried to get you two back on better terms, or in a better place. Counselled you, or listened to both of you voice your concerns, and now you two are trying to work through your issues together. I do see that despite the love, you are going to be weighing your options a while longer to see if there is genuine consistency in the relationship, and not just affection to keep each other in each other's lives. ultimately, it will bring you two closer together. Think a realisation of sorts. For example: we try hard to be happy together by taking the extra effort, but over time we realise that it's not THAT hard, and it eventually becomes second nature to just be.....happy. We no longer have to try anymore.

This isn't to say that he believes you are totally opposite from him, or that he doesn't believes it will never work, but he is trying to assess how practical and realistic the relationship is right now. He cares for you on a deep spiritual level, and I believe he firmly believes it can work, but he is trying to reign himself in because you two are having issues becoming one; vibing on the same wavelength so to speak. Like I really care for you, but I want to be honest and realistic about the situation to see if we can eliminate all the discord, disharmony, and overall differences between us. Not necessarily at a crossroads, but I feel like he checks himself with you..he wants you and he is moving towards you and being more vocal, but at his own pace, as he is steering.(for his own security).

I wouldn't worry too much about your guy. Seems to me that you're on the up and up honestly with other things in your life really improving(and rather quickly I feel), and I know you want him and you to get it together to make everything at this point in your life perfect for the future, but maybe you're meant to take care of you. 🙂

By me saying don't worry about him, I mean that things are going to be smooth sailing for you two as far as the near outcome. Granted, in order to figure out how to be on one accord, you two are going to test the waters. Do something different. I feel like courting? lol like you two have never done things traditional because maybe that wasn't your style? like dating? we met and then bam, we were head first into a relationship.

I just feel like its going to be almost a reset on you two that is going to be very beneficial. Not perfect, but you'll be much happier than beating you head against a wall like before and wondering why this has to be so unnecessarily difficult.
