I dont think there is something coming between you and him per se, its seems to be a general thing. He seems to not be noticing or thinking of what going on around him, he's a little bit disatisified with things right now and is taking time to reflect and just be alone. I think he is going through some changes in his life. Where the tower falls another one builds and as its clarified by the 4 i think he is wanting to build a stable emotional foundation for him self. I think he has had alot of things on his mind. The 9 of swords is about anxieties and worries and the 10 is the coming ending of that, so i think he is working on a new start for himself.
