Thinking about moving across the country in December, to be with my boyfriend. Transits at that time include:-Mars and Jupiter conjunct my NN in the 4th -Uranus conjunct my moon in the 9th -Transiting NN conjunct my ASC -My progressed IC moves into Sagittarius -My boyfriend's progressed MC moves into Sagittarius (and he would be moving for career change) -Sun, Venus, Saturn conjunct my Vertex in the 5th -Venus and Sun trine my MC -Neptune trine my IC from the 8th -Mars and Jupiter also square my AC/DC I'm so excited! Also a little nervous. Still have almost a year to think about it. Is there anything else I should look at?

Hi. Are you trying to figure out whether that's a beneficial time for moving or whether it's a good idea to do that for boyfriend or something else?Good idea or not, the first 2 positions in your list indicate an opportunity window for a long-distance relocation. IP: Logged |

Hi Iridia Well, I'm wondering about the location itself. If I move anywhere, it's going to be in the place I'm thinking of. So if the transits look good, it means it should be a good place for me to be? Or does it just mean the move will be really easy? (The thing is that I love where I am.. especially for my 'career,' there's no other place like it. But I don't want to be away from him and he's 'good for my career' too. I think I'm gonna do it, because I'd probably regret it if I didn't and I can always move back. Just want to see if this move looks like it would be beneficial, or detrimental, careerwise). P.S. What do you think about relocation charts? And solar returns? Thanks IP: Logged |

Oops, I missed your reply. Thanks for explaining. I'm still in the observation phase when it comes to solar returns but it already appears that they're not useless. I don't have enough experience with relocation charts to have an opinion but if I were you, I'd totally check it, why not? In theory, it should be the easiest way to find out the themes of your life in a specific location, at least if the stay is to be long-term. They say the more time passes, the more influential this chart becomes. I don't think transits could tell you whether it's the place for you. You may see difficult or promising stuff coming for you after your relocation but transits will get you no matter where you are, you know? So...feel free to post your relocation chart. I would tell you what I think but remember, no guarantees from me. I suggest you base your decision on what's in front of you first and foremost.IP: Logged |

Hi Thanks for replyingI don't think they're useless either and this may be because I've never had doubts about my birth time or ASC, etc. Plus for my last solar return, the moon was conjunct the DSC in the same sign and degree as my boyfriend's Sun, and we've gotten significantly more 'serious,' as you can see by this thread. I just found that too weird and it inspired some faith in the Solar Return system. I checked out 'Astroclick Travel' on Astrodienst and it looks like the place I'm moving will be right on my 'Chiron / IC line.' The description doesn't sound like it makes sense but I don't expect much from the descriptions anyway. But if I change the reference place for this upcoming SR to that location, my stellium of Sun-Venus-Mercury-Saturn will move from the 10th house (where Venus was on the MC) to the 12th house. Which seems less beneficial for career.. However, in the new location, Mars conjunct POF, and Jupiter conjunct Vesta, would move from the 8th house to the 10th house (with Mars-POF conjunct MC). Moon widely conjunct the MC from the 9th (by 8 degrees). And the IC would conjunct my natal moon exactly (with Uranus and Pallas on the IC too). I also find it interesting that, if I move to the new location, my SR ASC is conjunct my boyfriend's natal ASC, and my SR MC is conjunct my boyfriend's natal MC. o.0 And in any case, my SR NN is conjunct my natal ASC by 7 minutes of arc. IDK why but this just fascinates me to no end. Such weird coincidences. And I agree wholeheartedly with this: quote: I suggest you base your decision on what's in front of you first and foremost.
I do believe in personal responsibility above all ^_^

Your SR case would make me think too.IC/Chiron, wow...now, is it a major wound to your psyche or a notable healing of it? Either way, the place could strongly affect the core of your being. Too bad it's the only thing you're willing to say about the chart. Mars and Jupiter in the 10th house look good to me, especially that conjunction to the MC. I think they're a good consolation prize. I don't take PoF too seriously so no enthusiasm about this one. So, maybe there will be lots of action and opportunities in your new location in that period, but you're ready to stay there for years if that means being with your bf, right? Now go and check what ****** things you get in further SRs All those interaspects you mentioned are definitely something to note. IP: Logged |

Lmao, oh no, I never plan that far ahead. They look interesting but I can't even begin to contextualize their meanings. The Chiron / IC line was the only thing I saw on that Astroclick Travel thing, but here's the actual relocation chart: I mean it doesn't seem too revealing because it's just me in different houses. Though it would be nice to have Venus, NN, Pluto and Jupiter OUT of the 4th house. Ha. The AC would now be conjunct my Bf's DC. Also moon from 9th to 11th, maybe I'll make a lot of friends or make my dreams come true or something. (My natal AC is at 16 Leo and IC at 8 Scorpio) IP: Logged |

Ok, let's start with your 6th house Sun-Mercury conjunction. I don't know how about you but I see it as something benefical for career. I wouldn't call it a great achievement indicator but you shouldn't complain about the lack of work at the least. I don't even mind that square to the IC-MC, I think it emphasises the focus on work. I also like the sextile from the MC ruler to the MC. If you do something creative for a living (which is quite likely with your natal Taurus MC, Sun-Mercury in the 5th etc.), it should be easy for you to maintain your inspiration with Venus (5th house ruler, yay) and Jupiter (6th house ruler - work) in the 5th house and Pisces MC. NN there could help you utilize your artistic abilities better than before. And if that doesn't apply, there's a chance they help keep the spark between you and your bf. Btw, I suggest you play the lottery there The ASC ruler Moon in the 11th house is the potential for having a rich social life and support from female friends/figures in making your wishes come true, including your wish to make money (Cancer 2nd house). Neptune and Uranus in the 7th could be about attracting unusual people. Mars in the 3rd exactly square Jupiter in the 5th makes me think about attempts at ficition writing.A reminder: this is pure speculation. You must move there for the sake of science now IP: Logged |

Good girl And good luck!Btw, Venus trine ASC (or any other angle) is supposedly an indicator of feeling comfortable in the location. I should have noted that aspect earlier. Not sure what Saturn trine ASC would mean...potential for staying there for a long time maybe? Eh, I need to remember to pay more attention to aspect to angles for the future, after all they're most important. IP: Logged |

Hey... just made the move I will make periodic updates. If anyone's reading this, I'm still confused about solar returns - if I had my birthday in location A, but moved to location B shortly after, and spent most of the year in location B, then which reference place do I use for the solar return? :s IP: Logged |

Hi, I hope it was the right move I'd use your birthday location. If relocation doesn't cancel natal charts, then solar returns should work the same way, don't you think?------------------ Astrology is descriptive, not causative. IP: Logged |

Hey Well, it's not the worst place to live by any means (mountains + ocean), soo different from where i was. Just hope I can find work, but I'm also down to be a vagabond & yeah that makes sense, okay. now i have a 10th house stellium instead of a 12th in the SR so maybe I won't be a vagabondIP: Logged |

A 6th House Sun ... Health and Well Being?Pay attention to your body-rhythms. 6th House sun does better when you are able to keep a good schedule, maintain routines. Monitor how much expending you do. Make sure you'll be able to get adequate rest-times, even arrange that if you need to, you could escape work for extended (unscheduled) breaks from time to time, to go refresh and boost your soul; thus renewing interest, Creativity and productivity. Watch your burn-out levels when it comes to Giving of yourself. Balance Caring for others with enough Caring for self as well. Slow down ... monitor 'how' you feel, processing emotions, where and how you stand on things. You might have a tendency to over-estimate 'how much' you can do at a time, and with confidence promise to take on more work than your body might be able to manage (if you schedule 'too much' or too tightly)-- just keep track IF you find yourself tending to do that, then DO let your employers (or clients if self-employed) know when you've done that, and give them a closer and more-real time approximation. Take care of your 'liver', and take extra guard for your hips and sciatic nerve? Monitor stress to your nerve-system overall, which can play havoc on emotions, which play havoc on the body, etc-loop-loop-loop. Make sure you maintain good insurance policies on your body, things, and place of residence. Keep good tabs on 'how' you feel, nurture yourself inwardly. Being there may also ruffle up some memories of early foundational childhood experiences from deepest parts of your psychological self... Could also find you have an ability to analyze deeply, find you have an ability to see things 'just-underneath the surface' of things. Maybe you'll glean reflections of the role of how each your parents layered and influenced your thinking-emotional processes upon which you make decisions on all kinds of things. I DO surely admire your pluckiness... Your adventure-spirit and risks you take to go after Love in your life. I hope your move there has boosted your Joy! Thanks for the feedback you gave... Hoping you find Every Happiness, in New Year 2018, and that you maintain a special shield-- like the wax-on-a-duck's back.. so that in times of adversity, you'll re-call your joy, and retain a resiliency. Maybe look more to the congruent energy between the Water Asc with Water MC? Another hunch would be your Progressed Sun (Cappy??) and the Pr Moon positioning themselves in calmer energies. There's a shift going on too-- energies overall moving towards more earth and water (generally). Vesta on your relo-Ascendant looks like she's vibing 'happy'-energies at me! Being in-Love and feeling cherished is also (in the natural) very nutritious-- fortifying, satisfying, and Right. {So very glad for you. Enjoy ...} IP: Logged |

Hi, Thought I'd make an update since I've been experiencing bouts of existential aimlessness since the move. - So, I haven't found work, and feel like I may be unemployable here. - I got involved with the music community around here but there's no promise of any money in it. - I'm now playing bass in a death metal band which there's also no money in. - I really miss my family and am spending a good chunk of my savings to go visit them because I just need to be reminded that life is full of happiness and fun somewhere. - I live in a fantasy bubble that is unsustainable. - I feel like a supporting character in my boyfriend's life instead of the main character in my own life. - I don't know what to do about all of it besides moving back home, but I don't want to break up with him I guess I should just try a little harder. And keep trying. But I can't help but feeling like I need some adventure!! (I'm also reading On the Road by Kerouac) and I feel more like a stay at home mom, without kids, at 23 years old I just feel like... he's so serious about career, and doing so well at it, but me, I want to take risks with someone I love, have some fun, not cook dinner every night and keep house o.0 I don't know how I let myself get to this point. Oh, and I've caught the flu 3 times since moving here!! IP: Logged |
