I can't tell if it's hopeful thinking or not, but your reading does resonate with me; As far as I know, it's true that he isn't looking for a relationship, and he did tell me that I'm a good woman too. I also feel that he cares about me (at least as good friends). The soul connection and spark that you mentioned feel true, but I might just be biased to think so. I'm curious what specifically you feel about our 'soul connection'?

There's a tight feeling when I look at these cards. Not sure if there are current concerns he has with his work and finances. He is holding on to this connection and knows that there is care here, feels like he wants to do the right thing as he has thought this connection through. It's very conflicted on his part, he's a bit tired by how things are but also find that taking new steps or trying to work things out equally so. It seems this development with how he is going about is something that causes you worry. Overall he seems really unsure of what next step he should take that would make him happy and is something he wants.

Returning early from what one was doing, for something better. There is nothing wrong with this, and it shouldn't give any stress. There is still progress. It is a good idea to not lose sight of one's aims.

This move would be something you'd feel really happy and optimistic with, allowing you to see what new things it will bring. You would take some time to stabilize yourself, figuring out certain decisions because there might be competition or certain challenges the industry you're in carries. The results though is something you'd feel was worth it, you're able to find the balance you need and feeling like you've found your spot in your career.
