okay what I am feeling is that he does want you there because he wants to connect with you. the problems he's having here is he's feeling awkward and insecure and is having a hard time putting himself out there in a genuine way to establish a connection with you. like, he will IMAGINE being able to connect and be open.. and want it. but when it comes down to actually doing it, he pu$$ies out.. may even shut down and act somewhat cold. it is a defense mechanism.

I feel there to be a development in the area of romance. It feels that there will be time spent with someone special to you and overall it feels very feel-good. It has the energy almost of that early-romance time of when you are super young and just spending time with someone you enjoy and even the simplest things seems so exciting
