This has been a recurring theme, without fail, since my childhood. Every single year, coming out of August and going into September, some s**t happens for me. It seems to be worst when Saturn is in its last decan of a sign. I had a pretty horrible time in September 2015, and am having a tough time this year.

I cannot tell you how many relationships have broken up for me during this timeframe. Heck, even my marriage broke up during this period!

Or, I have lost jobs. This year, I have been informed I will lose my job AGAIN, after 2+ DECADES of trying to get a decent job/ remuneration.

I am so sick of it. I don't have a bloody penny to my name, except 4000 GBP worth of debt, which I have been working 7 days a week to diminish. It makes me so angry that some people sit on their butts, demand money and get it without having to lift a finger.

It's said that the squeaky wheel gets the oil, but I can squeak and squeak and still not get the oil. I am always the last person people get round to if something important needs to be done admin-wise (for example), concerning me. It's like people ignore the fact I have feelings and ignore the fact I exist...I suppose, just because I don't join in their bitchy BS, and demand an audience every second of the day!

Another Aries (a chap) said this might be because I come across as confident and having it all together. I was astonished!

Anyway, I would appreciate an explanation of this mysterious September doom-and-gloom cycle. I think it may be due to the proliferation of planets in my 12th House around that time. What do you think?

I am thinking that it is a solar thing. Since the sun is making the contact with a planet by sign for approximately 30 days. Virgo must have something to do with it. I did not see your chart but I would think this is partly to blame. Also, the sign of Virgo gets plenty of hits for being too critical. Sometimes that criticism is our own. I want to say something wonderful but I feel I have no words.

Well, I helped talk a woman out of jumping off a railway bridge this afternoon - who was obviously also having a rough time.

I said to her: "Please don't do it. My schizophrenic cousin tried to kill himself by jumping off a railway bridge. He wasn't killed, but he lost an arm. Please don't do it. I'm sure there must be something someone can do to help."

Shortly afterwards I left the scene and the tears were welling up strongly in my eyes, and it was all I could do to fight them back. Because - two years ago to this day, I probably felt exactly the same.

When I got back to my office (the scene was visible from my window) I could see the woman being helped off the bridge by police and ambulance.

I have no way of knowing whether any of what I said sunk in, but hopefully it did - I couldn't just stand there and do nothing. I would have felt terrible.

I wonder whether the September madness has got to do with the energy of certain Fixed Stars: here is some information from http://solarisastrology.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/fixed-stars-astrological-meanings-of.html

***Alphard 27° 29' Leo – This star sits in the constellation of Hydra, the Serpent. This can be a very turbulent and emotional star and if the energy of it is prevented from being expressed openly then it can provoke extreme violence and tumultuous outbursts of anger and rage. There is great passion and obsession here to take advantage of though, and it can drive one on to great feats and achievements.

Regulus 00° 02' Virgo – Regulus is a royal Persian star sitting at the heart of the Lion in Leo. This star has the potential for one to get to be the king of the jungle and to rise up to a very prominent position, however there will be tests along the way and if one resorts to revenge action against an individual who tries to thwart your plans, then you may lose everything that you have worked for.

Thuban 07° 39' Virgo – Thuban is a star in the constellation of Draco, the Dragon. This star is linked to looking after a treasure or something precious that is of value to others. It brings in the idea of sharing resources and it may make you overly nervous or afraid that you will run out of something that you need, therefore this can be a star of anxiety and worry too.

Zosma 11° 31' Virgo - This star sits on the back of the Lion in Leo and is one of hard work and suffering. This star may indicate that you will have to go through a period in life of toil and hard graft and it also indicates that you may be victimised or pressured in some manner. If this is not the case you may work instead with people and in situations where victims are present and need assistance.***

- I also have difficult times in the month of February, particularly the 3rd decan. Thus, the last days of summer, and the last days of winter, before the preparation for a new season.
