Would mainly like to know purpose of friendship, level of sincerity and any other important aspects

I drew up a composite for this relationship.
right off the top there is a unusual ambience . the node is square to Lilith and square to the vertex a little looser but as the sun is conjunct thenode and tightly square the vertex, the affect is a vertex/Lilith conjunction square to the node. this unites various psychic/karmic/subconscious energies so that most often there is soe feeling that fate or destiny is at play. these energies do not mean the relationship will work out necessarily but it oftentimes gives s sense of unusual coincides and even altered dimensional interactions occurring.

with the sun conjunct the south node, there is a strong aura crated between you.it can feel as if you have a separate reality when you are together. the Venus/mars midpoint is conjunct to the sun and SN which gives a strong emotional and physical attraction. in addition mercury is conjunct the south node ehich gives a very strong mental connection, often seeming that you share the same mind as this can give a psychic/telepathic connection. very often you can answers each other question before they are spoken and know each other thoughts with out speaking.
but as this is the south node, there can be clarity and confusion at times as you might not be able to separate your thought from each other's thoughts.

Jupiter is trine to venus giving a overall enjoyment of each other's company. this can be a aspect of a serious relationship or a least contribute to a serious relationship but it can also shows a good friendship or even a coworker of someone in the same professional field.

eros is conjunct the ascendant and square to Saturn so it seem he has affectionate feeling for you but may be reserved in the expression of his feelings at times.

the moon is square to venus which shows a spontaneous affection but the moon is conjunct to orcus which shows you have some reservation, maybe not conscious but you may as he, not express you affection strongly.

the moon/venus midpoint is loosely opposed to Neptune and square to mars which indicates you met in a informal situation and neither were actively looking for something serious. light hearted meeting and likely while out on the town so to speak.

but the and mars is very problematic in a composite because it suggest that fidelity will be a issue, as this square often shows an affinity for other "relationships".

the moon/Saturn midpoint is square to psyche so it seems there is a romantic feeling between you that makes you feel this could be a serious relationship.

eris is conjunct the sun so there is also a very strong physical passion between you but eris can often lose sight of emotional needs in the pursuit of sexual enjoyment

juno is trine to eros and the ascendant , so again there are affectionate feeling that could point to a committed relationship or mariage

hmmm the juno/Jupiter midpoint is conjunct to the vertex and square to the sun. this aspect kicks the relationship to another level which is that a marriage is either contemplated or at least has been mentioned.

the kicker here is that Nessus is opposed to the vertex/juno/Jupiter and square to the sun

this aspect makes me pause...vertex aspects are very strong but they do not always fit in with the other dynamics in the chart or vertex aspect are not realized within the chart , rather they are potentials.
nessus is a abusive symbol and to have it so strongly aspected bodes discord. it is as if underneath the harmony there lurks domineering intentions and desires.

this is a difficult chart to get a handle on

At the very least we would have a good friendship which is what I really feel at a base level anyway which you've just confirmed more or less.

What does your gut or intuition tell you?.

Do you feel he should be friend zoned or jump into the abyss and hope for the best. At the moment I am secure within my life and family structure but I am unhappy and isolated, I feel he could change this.

Also I have a synastry #2 thread going which may help with decisions I need/should make.

If you could possibly help decode that chart for me I would be eternally grateful. I am inexperienced/not confident with my own decisions (I usually make the wrong one). I do not want to make a mistake and possibly hurt someone. I also do not want to make a complete fool out of myself either.
