You will have to be the one who initiates contact with him otherwise he's not going to contact you or take too long in the first place. He'll respond positively but will be closed off to an extent and you will have to push the conversation in the direction you want it to.

I see that you and J.K have had a romantic affair in the past.

And he's got you caught up... in your feelings.
You want him, you want more of what made you feel good from him, you think highly of him and admire him.. a lot.

But he doesn't show the same mutual interest in you. And that makes you feel insecure, embarrassed even.

I see that other people got his attention and holds it better.

Something about you two are incompatible with each other.

Both of you have introverted and serious personalities and that is where you two were good with each other. But you are more timid, a little more modest, and reserved than he is, while he is more ... ahem.. "attentive" of the opposite sex & probably has more friends and a bigger social circle, and is more of a flirt too.

This might seem random, but are you creative, like someone who draws or plays music? And is he someone who works in some type of service job?

Anyway, back to the main point.

You two are at odds with each other. You don't desire the same things from each other and that is where the main opposing force comes from. He's distancing himself from you and he's rubbed the wrong way about him. I don't see the future between you two good, to be honest. Yes I think he will do something and make it very clear to you how it feels, in a public way.
