I think they are being nice amicable friendly but 1 feels a distrustful of the other thinking seeing that individual as fake who isn't sincere. Yup someone here thinjs there's a hidden selfish agenda in this connection but isn't voicing that keeping it to themselves. I do feel that inebperson is kinda do dependent on the other so to extent their is selfish gain more on like emotional level though self esteem boost

You know, that's pretty funny you say that about Manuel. I got the vibe that he would use a woman to live off her money. That being said..

Manuel is with her because she's familiar to him and he knows her. He knows that she isn't going to do anything against him and he knows where her loyalty and meanings lie.
I do see that he enjoys her and loves her personality. He wants to be with her and longed for her before he got her.

To an extent yes, feels guilty or shameful like this wrong...it feels like it's kinda abusive or verbally or some manipulation here is happening. Like male kinda knows how to manipulate her. She a crutch in a way maybe slightly older or or atleast more mature.

I think he is trying to find a good balance in life he older but she's more like stable atleast emotionally. He looking for like a make over of soul his morals or change his sense identity be better he thinks C person he can capture that from stability and makeover of him his morals. He wants to rid of all his bad habits here
