I'm so sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've looked for like 10 minutes. If it is, feel free to delete it or move it.But I'm looking for a good tarot deck to buy. I bought the John Holland Oracle Tarot deck, which kind of mixes them together. Just tried the app on the iphone which is rubbish (Probably because it's an app... or that I'm not skilled as of yet. But I'm scared of buying one that won't work well or one that where the cards would "fit any situation". Is it possible that one may not work at all for me yet another would? I'm very psychic apparently, but I need a tool to use and I'm hoping tarot is the way to go. Thankyou IP: Logged |

Hi!The best tarot cards are ones that are given to you by someone. I read that once about these cards and it seems to work. My mother bought a deck of them years ago and gave them to me. They seem more accurate than the others (for me). If you're just starting out with them, maybe try the Rider Waite Beginner's Tarot or any of the decks that you are drawn to. Spring IP: Logged |

Hey! I'm just now seeing this, thank you so so much! So I was also recommended the Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck by John Holland, which I actually have right in front of me now. I do have a question however. I do not know where to start AT ALL. Like, do I shuffle the cards? Do I draw them? How do I put them on the table? How do they face, the position, etc., and how do I read them? LOL! IP: Logged |

I myself use the John Holland one, but usually in combination with my normal 78 traditional deck as a supplement. I like to see if I get similar or the same cards, so I prefer to use multiple decks. There is no “right” deck or anything, it’s not the decks that give accurate readings it’s all about the person, if you’re psychic or intuitive already it doesn’t matter which decks you use lol they’re only there to help you channel and interpret the messages (questions) you are asking So just have fun and try them out, get familiar with the meanings of each card. And I always tell everyone especially if you’re a beginner, NEVER ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE OTHER SIDE OR ANYONE PASSED OVER, whether you knew them or not, because now it’s a mediumship reading, you’re opening a portal and you don’t know what’s going to come through. Obviously some people are qualified and have experience and know what they’re doing, but the average person or beginner doesn’t, so I strongly advise anyone who doesn’t already practice mediumship to ever ask the tarot any questions like that. You may as well be using an ouija board at that point. I can almost guarantee you will attract a negative entity, it’s happened to people I’ve known and even myself years ago. It’s tarot 101 but not talked about nearly enough so just wanted to tell you that, I don’t want you having to experience anything negative 😇😇 Make sure you pray and set your intentions every time you ask a question also, always have the intention of wanting to help and provide clarity for anyone you’re reading but even just yourself. I always start with “angels/spirit guides” then ask the questions, I specifically direct the question to them and ONLY them. I don’t just say “cards” or sit there and just start thinking of a question and start pulling cards lol. It takes a lot of work and energy, but if you do it the right way, you’ll get the best and most accurate readings 😇 Good luck ❤️❤️❤️ IP: Logged |
