So he is definitely missing you and hurting. 3 of words is the heartbreak/breakup card, and then I pulled 6 of cups and 2 of cups which means he loves you and is missing you and thinking about all the memories you have together and reminiscing. He feels very lonely and again misses you a lot. That’s why I was picked up the word longing so strongly.
BUT he also feels like this separation etc. has a purpose and he is trying to let you go despite how much he misses you and how much he is hurting...
I feel like whatever he told you or said the last time you spoke was also very honest as I got the honesty oracle.

Stars flew out from the deck of cards while shuffling which means he hopes you would reach out to him. He hopes that you will reconnect.
Then another card fell off and it was the Whip. I think the guy is pretty mad at you at this point for not reaching out to him!! lol. This guy is something! None of the cards suggests he will reach out but the cards don't suggest the opposite either. I just don't see the cards for communication popping up. The desire to reconnect is strong, though.

Haha yes this is very accurate. We were technically FWB since we broke up officially a year ago after dating for almost 2 years, but we still were intimate etc. So the snake(sex) with dog (friend) makes sense. We were best friends, we would hang out pretty much everyday. He only hangs out with 1 other person besides me now, so yeah I imagine he probably is bored now, unless it means he’s bored of me? That would make sense too. He was the one to cut contact, last thing he told me was “eat **** and die” 👍
So whip also makes sense that he’s mad at me.

But stars is confusing that he wants me to reach out, since I did a few days after our last fight and he told me “we’re not in contact anymore, it has to be this way” and so I just said ok, and that was a month ago now and I haven’t heard from him.

Woowwwwww! I’m literally stunned! This is insane that you picked up on all this.
I AM the one who always gives and gives and gives and our relationship has always been one sided with me always making way more effort and caring more and having the stronger feelings. That’s insane. So you’re saying it’s my karma in this life now because in a past life HE was the one doing all giving and I was basically a jerk lol.

Alright so I think in a past life you guys were not romantic or lovers. I'm almost getting the feeling you were enemies or there was a lot of conflict and like war/battle field or something.
The obstacle in this life is definitely getting along/harmony, seeing eye to eye and trying to find that mutual understanding and connection, 5 of wands means there is a lot of conflict and butting heads with you guys. This makes sense with the past life knight of swords which shows a lot of conflict between you.
In this life the relationship IS romantic shown by the lovers and with ace of swords I feel clear, honest communication and understanding is important.
The unfinished because is hard to say, but I feel like studying/learning is involved.
