Sorry for getting back so late. Out with my buddies late last night.
Yes you should definitely get rid of anything related to him. I picked up the seven of swords. All the negative energy your family feels towards him is attached to those items and draining you every time you have to deal with them or even look at them. An example would be something worthless but has a lot of good memories attached to it. It has absorbed very positive energy and it would be hard for you to let go. Yes get rid of it.

Thank you though! The answer is coming back pretty unanimously. I just LOVE the jacket, it’s my favorite one. I picked it out from a Tibetan shop, but he was with me and I think he bought it. Anyways, it is one of the last remaining relics from our time together which now ended 4+ years ago

I tried twice but I didnt make much sense of the first spread, but the Chariot flew out and also came up in the spread.
The second spread that was more clear was this. Oh and the Magician flew out, so yes I believe it will work like magic and you will finally achieve what you want.
9 of cups the emperor (does this card fit for his personality? It could just be like that because he is the father figure literally, it also came up before too) 4 of wands Page of Pentacles and 7 of pents.
I believe yes it will have a posutuve external outcome for you but you got to be thorough and get rid of absolutely everything, thus requires some time though.
I am getting that He will insist for a while though, like he wont go away instantly (I pulled 8 of pents as a clarifier) this will requite hard work/devotion ot he could be exceptionally devoted on that connection for a while. I also get that some legal paper has to be signed/made for that to come true in all essense, I also got Justice twice. I asked clarification for the final outcome. Hey mars had about 10 oranges and soup and i am feeling better!

So i am not good with exact timing as i think energetically timing isn’t set in stone. How i feel it adn how it makes sense to me is that there is a certain amount of energy to be worked through until you get to this reality so i feel that energy.

That being said, you can concsiously work through it faster and speed up time a bit or you can choose to be super stagnant adn not make much progress.. so i can estimate times based on the energy i feel between you and this reality and use the cards for guidance

Anyways, you will definitely have a family and a loving life partner. How he shows up to me is like the quintessential family man. A good husband and a good dad. The kind of man who goes to every sporting game for his kids. That is really the energy of him that is coming forward overwhelmingly.

Time wise, it feels like close but not that close. Like months not weeks... not YEARS but could still be more than a year. I think you will be where you wanna be by two years at the latest though, it actually feels sooner than that to me

If you want to see in the post i just left for mars i said how i do timing, so it definitely isn’t set in stone in my opinion. That being said, I’d guess 6 months by the energy i am feeling although it could linger longer i suppose

For your q; I’m getting a yes you should!! Subconsciously you associate it with your ex, and that keeps him with you in a way. Even if you just like it and not because of him, it’s still energetically connected to him. So even just put it away in storage or out of sight if you don’t want to get rid of it fully
When you remove all reminders of him, he won’t weigh on you so heavily, you won’t have those negative energy cords attached to him as much which gives you the negative thoughts and feelings towards him
