I think he felt you were emotional like maybe did he hurt your feelings or something? More that you were hurt upset not really mad though. I think he felt whatever you said was justified you had the right guy to say what you did and you were right about whatever the messages said. I think he felt bad they left him feeling upset as well defeated like he thinks you walked away from him at this point it’s not good feeling not angry but upset on both ends
