Everybody here has their own lives to deal with, their own issues to handle, this doesn't give you a pass for being impolite towards other members on LL. let me tell you what I feel is impolite: When you don't acknowledge a post that somebody makes in response to a thread you've created or to a post you've posted. You could missed out a post, that's for sure, and it's not what I'm talking about here,I've noted that some people on LL takes the time to create threads by the dozen on multiple forums, but doesn't have the time to acknowledge the responses people made in their threads or say THANK YOU. Personally I think it's really impolite and it irks me a lot. it's not gonna take more than 15 seconds for you to post a thank you or to say hey I read your post blah blah. I'm not saying people do it just for the heck of it but may be they do it without realizing that it is impolite, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. But I'm posting this thread just to remind you that time is precious and that if someone has given you their time to answer your query/reading or whatever you choose to post on LL for FREE, the least you could do is be nice and say thank you. I've noticed that Randall makes it a point to thank people I really do appreciate that he does it, but it doesn't mean that it's the job of the administrator to go around thanking people. You won't lose a limb for being polite. IP: Logged |

thank you for posting this! I do think readers put a lot of time and energy to help people when they can and little gestures like showing some appreciation really goes a long way. IP: Logged |

Thanks Jessica!I'd like to go further..sometimes I will read for threads (non-exchanges), but find it exhausting when it looks like I'm the only one or one of a few that respond to those solo requests and sometimes there are quite of few popping up at one time. Maybe the others have already gotten burned out. This is a hobby for me, and I'm trying to not to overdo it and have taken a break from it while I work/focus on home/family stuff that I'm helping with. I know readings are often advertised professionally with the disclaimer--for entertainment purposes only, but when I put out the energy, it's much more fulfilling when someone really needs the help and doesn't just ask a question to just ask one to have something to do. Not sure if this resonates with anyone else here. I can only hope for good things. Spring IP: Logged |

Hey Jessica I agree and could really elaborate about some of the nasties that occur with this site but for the most part there are some lovely ladies (and guys) that are genuinely helpful and caring. I’ve encontered several over the years. Let’s all of us try to stay that way. IP: Logged |

Let us make it relevant. I bet she has Mars in Libra or Venus ruling the 6th/7th. As it is usually Libra placements that are most offended by impoliteness. What y'all think? On the whole, I agree with this the sentiment. I am vain. So I want to know as soon as possible if my valuable pearls of wisdom (spread out generously on a thread) are given a standing ovation or bowed down to. I can't help it.I am Sag with Jupiter in Sag conjunct. I think my wisdom is outstanding IP: Logged |

I don’t have libra in my chart and I dislike impoliteness as well. Catch up on your Astrology girl. Although you’re trying to be sarcastic, i think you’re trying to hard to make a point . IP: Logged |

Hmm...tough crowd Your message sounds like its on attack mode All in all though the point I made is that I agree. Its nice to get feedback. It was not meant to undermine the message at all. It just made me think of my own Mars in Lib in 6th which likes people to be courteous and polite. My sister has South Node in Libra and Pluto in 3rd ruled by Venus. She is all about playing fair and will call people out for impoliteness. I wonder if she does though ?(Jessica). Or perhaps some planets in the 7th? Do you have planets in the 7th? IP: Logged |

No I don’t have any but my ruler of my 7th is conjunct a few of my personal planets so maybe ? I’m also Saturn dominant

Yes. That does the trick. This could mean the affairs of the 7th are brought into that house Another person I know has no planets in 7th or Libra. But he works as diplomat for South Africa's foreign affairs minister. The ruler of his 7th conjuncts the Ic and squares the Asc. He is very concerned about the rights and welfare of others. Can't stand any type of rudeness or animosity in his presence. Pluto conjuncts the DSC from the 6th by 5 degrees and squares Venus(DSC ruler) by 7degrees in the Ic.

I have Mars in Libra. Venus is my 6th Lord and Mars 7th Lord. Oh, wait I'm not She but He. ------------------ My Chart : http://imgur.com/hCRDawD

I don't think it's about planets in the 7th house. Planets in the 7th house are in opposition to the ascendant. My expertise is Vedic Astrology, it's mostly how Saturn influences one's personal planets and also largely how a person was brought up, the basic manners that are inculcated while growing up. Oh! That's Critical. Saturn Conjunct Mars in 5th House. Saturn 9th and 10th Lord. Mars 7th and 12th Lord. I'm taking about my Vedic Chart. ------------------ My Chart : http://imgur.com/hCRDawD IP: Logged |
