I can see that he will put some effort . But guess what - the main card is 9 of wands - feeling defensive, still. He is like always watching for your moves trying to match it or exceed it. So competitive, he doesn't want you to over shine him. Around the 9 of Wands is the Emperor and 5 of Wands. Very competitive energy. Does he have a Marsian energy in his chart? Like, Mars on an angle or aspecting his sun?
I think that with the Emperor there In the spread, as well as having Ace of Swords starting the spread, he will gain mental clarity and this will help him see more clearly instead of acting like a lovestruck lad. I’m sorry I totally missed that question somehow regarding mr and the falling out.

So what I see here is that yes, you will be able to restore sleep faith but as you said and I feel in this read , there are a lot of hurt feelings particularly on his end. ( five of swords, three of swords, emperor ). He’s not very open at the moment but if you swallow your pride and apologize it will open the conversation to which he then will apologize for some things he previously was not open to apologizing about before. He is stubborn, m, but his feelings for you still remain strong underneath his armor. I do see some smiles coming back after a few exchanges. Don’t worry this can be restored with nothin of you willing to make amends which you both
Are.

If you are up for another ( I won’t miss this one lol) any chance you can look into just why he feels so hostile and competitive towards me? We are not even in contact. Thanks!

So for your question why he is defensive and competitive.
I pulled Cross and Tree as the flanking cards which show the foundation of a situation. Tree is family and Cross is pain, I assume he was being criticized heavily as he was growing up, or by a family member, som a body close to him. Like constant nagging.
He has abandonment issues signified by the Ship in the middle and by the Clover- Scythe duo. Like, whatever happiness there is - will be short lived and taken away from him, so he doesn't want to even try anymore. Hence being defensive. The competitiveness stems from those deep seated feelings of being criticized so he ups his game right from the start. He sees that you are a strong head woman, and he gets a bit intimidated that you will discover all those things he is ashamed of and that he was being criticized for before. Oh well.

Ok so yes he’s very much thinking of you over these past few days. He misses you , and thoughts of you make him smile and fill him with warmth. I feel like you will see him soon. The reading was for you, I didn't have any additional questions. I am not sure about the pregnancy hint, I pulled Lily and Child for M. Lily is family and Child is either a baby on the way or something new about a family. However, cards always have other meanings. Like Lily is also sexual/erotic feelings and with Child paired with it-could be that he might have had sexual thoughts about you.
