This answers both your questions..So yes MT is thinking about you and going through a choice that whether he should reconnect with you or not. The thing is he has held his guard too high. That doesn't mean he has any bad image of you. He loved the time you both spent and is reminiscing it but when it comes to contacting you he would let it pass because he finds the memories far more satisfying and alluring than the relation itself. So yes, he is thinking about you but isn't going to reinstate the contact anytime soon.
