The only way you will hear from B is if you are the one reaching out. B will not be the one to initiate any communication. Looks like she feels guilty about something.

I'll put what I see here. Seems like things will end up following the old ways and you will be left with your own emotions. There will be some minor deception that you'll figure out before any damage is done. The opportunities to get together may be few and you will likely feel letdown. It looks like there is another woman that they feel a responsibility towards and the result of those responsibilities is showing misunderstandings, opposition and a troubled relationship. I pulled two more clarifiers and got the hierophant and 3 of swords. It looks like you would have more tears in the end.

Based on these cards, I would say that nothing would change. I think I remember reading for you before and that things seemed to be good and then they would go downhill and the cards seem to follow that same pattern. Is this the guy with the kids that wouldn't let you meet them? It could be the ex-wife is represented by the empress and the knight of coins is his responsibility towards her.

Yes same one. So is it only responsibility he feels towards her and no love? We have talked about being open this time and him not lying or omitting telling me. We just had that talk this morning. He has told me he knows he needs to work on that....will he or is he just telling me that? We agreed to be friends and get to know one another and not jump into anything which is different than the past as well

What you said about the two of you being just friends, that makes sense with the hierophant coming up as a clarifier, but that card often means platonic. After that card, the 3 of swords came up and that's usually a relationship triangle. One card also shows you being letdown.

The cards can only give you possible outcomes for getting back together.
