So I always end up in places where I need to speak up to make things better for myself and others and people after me. Lately, people at work came to me asking for help. (short background about my job) my immediate boss and her boss dislike me because of who I am and my culture they want me out. they still trying. However, the director she is trying to be fair with me. She told me once that she appreciates that I speak up and would like me to tell her when something is wrong because I am at the department more than her.long story short Is it worth it to tell the director how the department fail to train and support employees. Many employees who have been here for years came to me to train them even though I wasn't here for a long time? they told me they are afraid to speak up and ask for help. that they feel miserable because of the bullies at work. I have seen many employees get pushed down and judged when they ask to improve and learn more. Our job is not easy it requires improvement to keep up. But the educational person only trains fairly when he likes the person. like if its a hot woman. I trained many new employees without judging them or making them feel less? I dont know what to do? I even told the director that I dont want more responsibilities I did not tell her the reason was the lack of training I felt bad for letting her down without telling the reason why?? Should I tell her about what my coworkers and I go through every single day???? will she help us???

Sorry for the bad news, Why don't you and the other employees just go to HR, so there's a documentation of what is happening. That way if even employees are saying the same thing, the directors and your department will be investigated. Taking on the responsibility of speaking on behalf of other employees could get you fired, simply by the director asking the employees if what you are saying is true...and if they lie because they are too scared of losing their job, you are then the one that is fired for causing a "rift". Having documentation by a 3rd party like HR will let the directors know there are issues, and they will instead be the ones being reviewed by the company and not the employees. Employees can be fired for anything, but especially something like what you are thinking of doing. IP: Logged |
