I started a channel on youtube a while ago and while this has mostly been astrology, I have been trying to do some card readings as well.

What I would like to know is: are there any topics I should use for my readings? I'm trying to get back into card reading but not sure what topics to do them on. I prefer personal healing/development topics. So, any ideas?

The style on youtube is to film a full reading with several piles, blindly picking cards for each of them, and then read each pile seperately. Links to each pile in the video. I don't know how popular/well-known this style is here, it seems very new to me.

I also saw something on your channel about feeling unpopular... I'm someone who has always felt different in my life and like the odd one out... so you could do some very unique readings. I know tarot daily has a question, "how can I make more friends..?" Very interesting.

Oh, and you may wish to ask your viewers what they would like to know about. Trust me, once you start gaining followers.. topics will come pouring in.

Good idea on trying to tie some astrology into the readings!! Wouldn't have thought of how to do that! I think that could be the 'unique' thing maybe? I do see fellow Twitter users do something like 'mini reading for Cancer' etc.

Yeah the unpopular one has gotten a lot of views haha. Ironic. Well I guess not really. I related to a good part of my notes myself, especially with Pluto from the 2nd house in square to the 11th. Funny enough the people who reply to my stuff the most are often Scorpio-heavy. Just a funny thing ^

Good point on that and on asking more. I took a very long time before even making this topic, kept shying away from it. I could post it under the video? I don't really get a lot of comments, definitely not on every video, so I'm going to have to think about how to ask... like, I guess I do get a bit worried that I don't get any replies. heh.

The problem with the feedback thing (which was good advice, thanks again Eva4! ) is that I just don't get it. I asked on my Twitter channel too and no replies. So until I'm getting more subscribers, it's hard to get feedback... and verce visa.

I 100% admit it played part in being gone for a long time, though of course the main thing was moving and mental health.

I'm starting to feel insecure really. Like, it's not the first time I tried something like this and just... hardly ever got comments or my posts being read. And I really have to talk to myself - sternly, or with affirmations - to not feel like that again.

It looks like certain videos are more popular but I'd like to get more ideas. I don't know what people are looking for...

So, since I started this thread, does anyone else have any tips for me? Or just ideas to do a video on, whether astrology, card reading, or even something different.

Guess it's going to take a little more time before my tune's ready. It's so much harder than it looks to start something up from scratch.

Hope it makes it a little easier for my videos to be found.

And maybe a change of scenery? When I watch other youtube readings, usually they sit at a table and sit in front of the camera while drawing the cards. I'll just have to use the info I have to work on the videos.

I've been trying to upload a new video like 6 times now and it just freezes at some point or doesn't start buffering at all.

Posted some thoughts on my Twitter instead. Maybe it's not meant to be in a video?
